Manual Processes, Accuracy Issues & Staff Overload
Before adopting mosaic, FACE faced significant challenges around CE tracking and conference operations:
FACE implemented mosaic 365™, focusing on CE tracking, check-in, and improving the attendee experience.
Enabled session-level attendance tracking with CE write-back to iMIS in near real-time.
Replaced paper sign-in sheets with badge scanning using 8” Samsung Galaxy tablets—affordable, portable, and highly effective.
Speaker and session data synced directly into iMIS, allowing CE tracking during the event itself.
FACE created its own app walkthroughs using screenshots—shared in print and digitally, which reduced confusion.
mosaic’s Megan and Nitin worked closely with FACE to resolve data sync issues, support staff training, and customize the admin dashboard.
A board member timed the check-out process—a dramatic improvement from paper queues.
CE data review began minutes after sessions ended, allowing real-time review and troubleshooting.
A cleaner UI and clear documentation made navigation and participation more intuitive.
Initially unsure whether to enable mosaic’s networking tools, FACE was impressed by their member engagement:
“They loved it… I almost didn’t turn on the social features. But it became one of the most used parts of the app.”
With automation replacing manual entry and post-event syncing, FACE’s internal processes became more efficient and manageable.
“Mosaic made everything about our most recent conference so easy to manage—it was the best conference that this organization has ever done.”
